Tristar has been founded by an orthodontist and team who are passionate about three things: orthodontics, latest technology and our patients. That’s why we work to combine all three to create an enjoyable and successful orthodontic treatment journey for each of our patients.

Tristar is a manufacturer of composite material for clear aligners. We supply more comfortable, efficient, and effective material globally. Tristar is Asia’s first and largest composite aligner manufacturer.
How we do it…
Tristar uses a composite sandwich, which in combination, providing high impact strength, yet remains flexible and comfortable for your patients. Essentially, this material has minimal fluid behaviour and maximum elastic behaviour. The force consistency when applied intraorally is amongst the highest of all commercially available clear aligner materials.
Our story…
Our clear aligner material story began nearly 2 decades ago, in Dr Reuben’s clinic attic producing tooth positioners for the settling of bites for lingual (invisible) orthodontic patients.
We subsequently expanded to creating our own clear aligners by moving plaster around for our patients – A very laborious process.
Tristar has been developed by an orthodontist who has a passion for orthodontics and latest technologies.
For decades, aligner materials were overlooked in the digitalization of orthodontics. Even today, single-layered or monolayered materials are the material of choice for many doctors and clear aligner companies for their patients.
Tristar is developed on a superior polymer backbone formulated by chemists working for the Whitesmile Clear Aligner company more than a decade ago to advance clear aligner tooth movement. Today, Tristar composites and derivative thermoplastic material is widely recognized as an industry benchmark for clear aligner treatment. Founded by both clinicians and polymer chemists, White smile Clear’s close collaboration with patients and research level universities have enabled rapid development of new industry standards in clear aligner treatment.
After supplying Zenyum with the first generation of material used for its aligner treatment, Whitesmile Clear developed an entirely new composite material: Tristar. Whitesmile Clear has begun supplying Tristar to major companies for aligners as well as orthodontic lab, dental labs, orthodontists and dentists worldwide.
After years of development, Whitesmile Clear is launching an entirely new generation of clear aligner treatment and materials with Tristar. Tristar was specifically designed to respond to the needs of clinicians and patients with sustained tooth moving properties whilst increasing comfort to patients during use. Based on the feedback and testimonials received we are convinced that this is the new global standard for clear aligner therapy.
One outstanding material is Invisalign’s Smart track material. However, the Invisalign company does not release this great material for sale to individual doctors and other clear aligner companies. We wanted to create a material that would be both economical and effective enough for our patients and customers.
